Try 3 months for $3

I am writing to showcase the value that our partnership with Church Health Services has brought to the Waupun Area School District. We developed a partnership with CHS in March 2017 to start to be able to provide mental health services within the school setting.

Within a few short months, we have more than 20 students referred for and receiving school-based mental health services provided by a licensed professional counselor from CHS. They helped us eliminate one of the biggest barriers to children receiving quality mental health services -- transportation.

Students are now able to be seen in a comfortable and familiar environment at their school. This has reduced the number of missed appointments because the students are seen at school. In addition to mental health services, we expanded to include alcohol and other drug addiction small-group counseling at our junior/senior high school.

Groups are co-facilitated with a CHS and a school counselor. Our collaborative goal is providing early intervention services. Currently, we have more than 50 students receiving some form of behavioral health services within our schools. We are very fortunate to have a partner like CHS working with our students.
