What will you remember the most about your time with the Beaver Dam girls hoops team? I will remember the friendships I made with my teammates and the experiences we shared on and off the court.
What was your favorite game to play in for your career? Against Miami Country Day, because it was amazing to see how many people came to support us and know how many people were watching back home.
If you could choose one season to play all over — with the exact same results — which one would it be? I would choose my sophomore basketball season because we went 28-0 and it was the first time in Beaver Dam girls basketball history to win a state championship.
Did you ever think this team would have the kind of success it’s had coming in as a freshman? I knew we had potential to go to state, but didn’t expect we would reach that goal three times and get national recognition.
My advice to young kids involved in sports: To set goals and work hard for them, and enjoy every minute of the process, good and bad.
If you had one day to spend $1 million, what would you buy? I would donate it to charity.
What are three words that describe you? Caring, dedicated and trustworthy.
If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be? Michael Jordan.
Post-high school plans: Attending Eastern Illinois University to play basketball and study sports medicine.
Role models: Aly Wilke, Cady Roedl and Anthony Schumann.
What songs do you listen to before a game? “We Are Family” and “Come on Eileen.”
Pregame meal: Sub sandwich.
Game-day routine: Don’t have one, besides listening to music and taking a nap before the game.
