The Beaver Dam High School tennis program will have an alumni event Saturday at the tennis courts behind the high school.
Anyone who played tennis at BDHS, at any level, is invited to the event, which will include doubles play competition and a luncheon afterward.
A doubles partner is not necessary in order to participate. Cost to play is one can of new Wilson or Penn championship balls, with the balls being donated to the tennis program following play.
The event begins at 9 a.m., with warmups before competition including footwork, "drill of champions," and lob recovery.
Former Beaver Dam coaches Gordy Kotinek (1955-1977) and Dave Kalscheur (1978-2017) as well as current coach Ryan Radig will all be there.
Kalscheur can be reached at 920-887-0630 with any questions.
