Take a ride on the Holiday Train! The Holiday Hullabaloo in Columbus kicks up a notch with an exciting contest.
The City of Columbus Tourism Commission and the Columbus Public Library are pleased to announce an opportunity for you to ride the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train into this year’s Columbus event.
Families wishing to enjoy the magical experience of riding the Holiday Train are asked to come to the Columbus Public Library (223 West James Street, Columbus, Wis.) during regular business hours to fill out an entry form.
In an effort to support the mission of CP Rail’s annual Holiday Train, contestants are asked to submit a short message or drawing of why they feel it is important to give back to their community during this holiday season.
The deadline for entries is Nov. 30 and winners will be drawn randomly. Two winners will be awarded three tickets each to ride the CP Holiday Train into Columbus on Friday Dec. 7 arriving at 9:05 pm.
Children will need to be accompanied by an adult guardian—a waiver will need to signed and presented when boarding the train in Watertown at Brandt-Quirk Park.
The train is scheduled to arrive at 7:55 p.m. in Watertown and depart for Columbus around 8:30 p.m. Winners will be responsible for providing their own transportation to Watertown to board the train.
