Local children in the Columbus area have an opportunity every Friday morning to tap into their artistic side.

The Workshop art studio in downtown Columbus hosts Creative Kids on Fridays from 10-11 a.m. The session allows young children to dip into many art aspects including watercolor painting, building blocks, Play Dough, drawing and other activities.

Katie Skuban, an assistant at the studio, lends her musical talents with a sing-along every Friday. Skuban strums an acoustic guitar and leads the children through many popular songs that encourages dancing, singing and plenty of laughter.
