Cub Scouts appreciate support

It’s been a busy year for Cub Scouts Pack 99. The boys participated in multiple camping events as well as service projects to benefit our community. They learned valuable life skills and continued to develop important character traits such honor, integrity and the ability to lead. None of which would have been possible without the continued involvement of local businesses and organizations that have supported scouting.

Thank you to Mullins and Kelly Crombie for providing gift certificates, which were used as door prizes to support a food drive that the Wolf Den (second graders) conducted at the annual Pinewood Derby, and to Cardinal Comics for providing prizes for Scouts who excelled in Scout activities. Culver’s of Columbus was kind enough to contribute free scoop certificates for the food drive, as well as hosted a “Scout night” fundraiser for our pack.

Pack 99 would also like to thank the Columbus Police Department for teaching the Bear den about forensics and fingerprinting and for visiting during a Pack meeting to teach the boys about Halloween safety. Also, a thank you to Lost Lake Acres Greenhouse for giving the Wolf Den a tour of their business and helping them with a planting project.

Lastly, thank you to the Oddfellows for chartering our Pack and to all of the parents and volunteers for their support.
