Today's celebrity chitchat
We know you want to know first! People are buzzing about today's celebrity surprises.
Taylor Swift is relieved her songwriting talent isn't "tied to [her] own personal misery".
The 'Blank Space' hitmaker - who is dating actor Joe Alwyn - admitted many writers worry about finding "stability" in case it impacts on their creativity so she was pleased to find inspiration from her own happiness for her latest album 'Lover'.
She said: "That's exactly what's happened with this album! I think a lot of writers have the fear of stability, emotional health and happiness.
"Our whole careers, people make jokes about how, 'Just wait until you meet someone nice, you'll run out of stuff to write about'.
"I was talking to ['Cats' director] Tom Hooper about this because he said one thing his mother taught him was, 'Don't ever let people tell you that you can't make art if you're happy'. I thought that was so amazing.
"He's a creator in a completely different medium but he has been subjected to that same joke over and over again that we must be miserable to create.
"'Lover' is important to me in so many ways, but it's so imperative for me as a human being that songwriting is not tied to my own personal misery. It's good to know that, it really is!"
Earlier this year, Taylor was left upset when Scooter Braun bought her former record label, Big Machine, meaning he acquired the rights to her master recordings.
The 'Me!' hitmaker explained she was so vocal about the situation because she wanted to shine a light on what had happened so other artists don't find the same thing happening to them in years to come.
Asked if she thinks the attention means artists won't find themselves in this situation in the future, she told trade publication Music Week: ""I hope so. That's the only reason that I speak out about things.
"The fans don't understand these things, the public isn't being made aware.
"This generation has so much information available to them so I thought it was important that the fans knew what I was going through, because I knew it was going to affect every aspect of my life and I wanted them to be the first to know.
"And in and amongst that group, I know there are people that want to make music some day. It involves every new artist that is reading that and going, 'Wait, that's what I'm signing?'
"They don't have to sign stuff that's unfair to them. If you don't ask the right questions and you sit in front of the wrong desk in front of the wrong person, they can take everything from you."
Sharon Osbourne has slammed John Legend over his reworking of 'Baby, It's Cold Outside'.
The 'All of Me' hitmaker has been working on a new version of the festive song - which was written by Frank Loesser in 1944 and tells the tale of a man trying to persuade a reluctant woman to stay at his house - with Kelly Clarkson but the 'Talk' panelist thinks the track is a "piece of art" that should be left alone.
She argued: "What would John Legend do, if in 40 years, if somebody wanted to... re-record one of his songs, and there was some group that found it offensive, and somebody just went, 'Oh, I can change the lyrics on that.'
"It's, to me, like a master painting. It's a piece of art."
Sharon seemingly singled out a line from the new version in which Kelly sings, "What will my friends think? If I have one more drink?" and John replies, "It's your body, and your choice."
Branding the changes "not right", she said on 'The Talk: "To change an innocent lyric, to what is it, 'Your mind and your body?' What the hell are you on? That's ridiculous.
"I have to tell you, I love John Legend. I love John Legend's wife, his family. He's an amazing artist that I really respect. Why do you do this? That's not right."
The outspoken star thinks the pair should have just left the song alone.
She added: "The thing is, if you don't like the song, don't record it."
Sharon's comments come after Deana Martin - whose late father Dean Martin recorded one of the most famous versions of the song in 1959 - branded John and co-writer Natasha Rothwell's changes "absolutely absurd".
She said: "He's stealing the thunder from Frank Loesser's song and from my dad. He should write his own song if he doesn't like this one, but don't change the lyrics. It's a classic, perfect song.
"He's made it more sexual with those words that he has just said."
Rumer Willis felt "so angry" with Ashton Kutcher for "taking away" her mother.
The 31-year-old actress recalled feeling upset and confused when Demi Moore wed the 'Punk'd' star and they wanted a baby together as she and her sisters, Scout and Tallulah - whose father is Bruce Willis - were almost grown up as it made her feel like she was "not enough" for the 'Ghost' actress.
She said: "So much of that time, especially with Ashton, I was so angry because I felt like something that was mine, had been taken away.
"When she wanted to have another baby, it was like, and then it wasn't happening, and then there was so much focus on that, it was like, 'Oh, well we're not enough.' "
Demi fell pregnant but tragically lost the baby in her second trimester and Rumer admitted she was so against the idea of having another sibling, she moved out of home shortly afterwards.
Appearing on 'Red Table Talk' alongside Demi and Tallulah, she said: "Part of the reason I moved out of the house was I think after you had a miscarriage I literally was just like, 'Why are you so desperate to have another kid?' and I couldn't stand the idea.' "
But the 'House Bunny' star softened when she saw pictures of her mother shortly before she miscarried and it made her realise how "insensitive" she had been.
She said: "But then I found these pictures and I was like, 'Oh my God'. I saw how big her stomach was and I was like, 'Oh my God. I was so insensitive'. I never once went to you and said, 'I'm so sorry. Are you OK?' "
Taylor Swift still draws the stage designs for her own shows.
The 'You Need To Calm Down' hitmaker loves the "challenge" of putting together the artistic ideas that make up the elements of her huge productions and teased that she is "so intrigued" to see how her own upcoming 'Lover Fest' extravaganza will turn out.
Taylor - who has always included a moving platform that enables her to fly above her fans at her shows - said: "Reading back on the journal entries, I forgot how obsessed I was with the industry as a teenager.
"I was so fascinated by how it works and how it was changing.
"Every part of it was interesting to me.
"I had drawn the stages for most of my tours a year before I went on them.
"That really was fun for me as a teenager!
"A lot of people who start out very young in music, either don't have a say or don't have the will to do the business side of it, but weirdly that was so much fun for me to try and learn. I had a lot of energy when I was 16!"
Asked if she is doing the drawings for Lover Fest - which is in support of her latest LP 'Lover' - she told Music Week magazine: "Definitely. And that's why it's still fun for me to take on a challenge like, 'Oh, let's just plan our own festival'. Let's create a bill of artists and try and make it as fun as possible for the fans. I'm so intrigued by what that's going to be like."
The 'End Game' singer announced two shows at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles as part of the Lover Fest West on July 25 and July 26, 2020, and two shows at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough as part of the Lover Fest East on July 31 and August 1, plus additional dates in Europe and Brazil.
She said: "The Lover album is open fields, sunsets, + SUMMER. I want to perform it in a way that feels authentic. I want to go to some places I haven't been and play festivals. Where we didn't have festivals, we made some. (sic)"
The line-up is yet to be announced.
The Jonas Brothers will release original Christmas song 'Like It's Christmas' on Friday (08.11.19).
The 'Sucker' trio - comprised of brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas - announced they are taking a leaf out of 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' hitmaker Mariah Carey's book by starting the festive season early with the new yuletide track.
Announcing the song on Instagram with the hand-drawn artwork featuring the three siblings in Father Christmas hats, they wrote: "Mariah Carey has given the world the green light, so the holiday season has begun!!! Our brand new original Christmas song #LikeItsChristmas is out on Friday people (sic)"
This isn't the first Christmas song by the band, as they released 'Girl of My Dreams' as part of the 'Disney Channel Holiday' album in 2007.
The 'Cool' hitmakers are all about spreading cheer amongst their fans, but recently admitted they were "surprised" to realise their fans now get drunk at their shows.
The Jonas Brothers are currently on their 'Happiness Begins' tour, their first major concert series in six years, and they've tailored the gigs towards the audience wanting to be "tipsy" and have a "good time".
Discussing how their audiences have changed, Nick said: "I think the thing that was most surprising to us when one of the first shows we did back was our fans were tipsy at the show, which was new for us - we never played our music to people drinking, necessarily.
"Now that is sort of the objective at the show. We've literally crafted the show with that in mind. People want to come have a good time.
"You know, happiness begins as an idea. It's about seeing too much darkness and sadness in the world -- why don't we bring some light, some positivity? And for some that means coming to a good show and having a drink and enjoying themselves. We want to be able to be the people to provide that experience."
Martin Scorsese has continued his critique of Marvel movies claiming the blockbusters lack "revelation, mystery or genuine emotional danger".
The legendary director sparked debate last month by dismissing the comic book franchise as "not cinema" and comparing the films to "theme parks".
And now Scorsese has expanded on his criticisms of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in an essay The New York Times newspaper in which he claims all the movies are made adhering to a strict formula to "satisfy a specific set of demands".
He wrote: "Many of the elements that define cinema as I know it are there in Marvel pictures. What's not there is revelation, mystery or genuine emotional danger. Nothing is at risk. The pictures are made to satisfy a specific set of demands, and they are designed as variations on a finite number of themes."
The 76-year-old director also suggested that the Marvel films are corporate products as opposed to cinema which he considers art.
He said: "That's the nature of modern film franchises: market-researched, audience-tested, vetted, modified, revetted and remodified until they're ready for consumption."
Scorsese also warned how the nature of cinema has changed in recent years and suggested that films that go against convention are not being made.
He explained: "In the past 20 years, as we all know, the movie business has changed on all fronts. But the most ominous change has happened stealthily and under cover of night: the gradual but steady elimination of risk.
"Many films today are perfect products manufactured for immediate consumption. All the same, they lack something essential to cinema: the unifying vision of an individual artist. Because, of course, the individual artist is the riskiest factor of all."
Scorsese - who made his latest film 'The Irishman', which stars Robert De Niro and Al Pacino, with Netflix - also warned that making the same type of film suffocates creativity in the world of cinema.
He said: "If people are given only one kind of thing and endlessly sold one kind of thing, of course they're going to want more of that kind of thing."
Roland Emmerich regrets making a sequel to 'Independence Day'.
Emmerich released 'Independence Day: Resurgence' in 2016, 20 years after the original came out, but the sci-fi follow-up did not match the success of its predecessor at the box office.
Initially, original cast members Will Smith, Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman were on board for the sequel but in the middle of production Smith decided not to reprise his role as Captain Steven Hiller in order to take on the part of Deadshot in 'Suicide Squad'.
Emmerich, 63, now believes he should have "stopped" work on that project once Smith pulled out because it meant the script had to be re-written.
In an interview with Yahoo Movies UK, he said: "I just wanted to make a movie exactly like the first but then in the middle of production Will opted out because he wanted to do Suicide Squad.
"I should have stopped making the movie because we had a much better script, then I had to really fast, cobble another script together.
"I should have just said no because all of a sudden I was making something I criticised myself: a sequel."
Emmerich - whose new movie, World War II drama 'Midway', is out this month - also criticised the lack of originality in Hollywood, saying that "everybody hates big new ideas" and wants to stick to tried and trusted formulas.
He said: "I came to Hollywood probably just at the right moment when originality and all that was at the high point. And if you had, good, new ideas, you were very successful. But now it's exactly the opposite. Everybody hates big new ideas and everybody wants to do the same movie over and over again. And it always has some weird cape on."
'The Day After Tomorrow' director also admits that he puts more importance on impressing audiences than critics and he doesn't care if people thinks he focuses too much on visual effects and stunts.
He said: "I've had to live with it my whole life so I'm just a little bit over it. Look, I have to test every movie so I know exactly how the audience thinks and know when it's not testing as well. That for me is a real problem.
"But, in 'Midway', for example, we had incredible tests. The audience really embraced it and that's what I really like about this job, that you can sit in a theatre with 450 people and they have really high scores for the film."
Robbie Williams has signed a new deal with Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) which will see him release his 13th studio album this year.
The 'Rock DJ' hitmaker has recently confirmed his debut Christmas album, 'The Christmas Present', will be released on November 22, and now it's been announced that as part of his new contract with the music label, his follow-up to 2016's 'The Heavy Entertainment Show' will be out before the end of 2019 as well.
The global administration deal with Robbie's own publishing company, Farrell Music, includes all of his existing and future works.
UMPG UK's Managing Director, Mike McCormack said: "It's such a pleasure to be reunited with Robbie and his management team at ie: music after so many years.
"I first signed Robbie as a young, fresh faced member of Take That back in the early 90s when I was at Virgin Music and even then, he was a huge personality and a pleasure to work with. He's gone on to become a global superstar and an incredible songwriter - so it's a privilege to represent all these great songs and the new material he will be writing in the future."
Robbie's upcoming festive record features debuts with Tyson Fury, Bryan Adams, Sir Rod Stewart, his dad and his young daughter Teddy.
The 45-year-old singer asked the 31-year-old boxer to sing on 'Bad Sharon', a song about a "boozy office party", and he said the heavyweight "smashed it" in the recording studio.
He said of the track: "That makes sense in some sort of universe! I got my residency in Vegas and while I was out there Tyson was fighting and he invited me into his dressing room, is it called a dressing room when you fight? I don't know.
"And I asked him and he said yes and the song itself, 'Bad Sharon', is basically a boozy office party somewhere in the Midlands and it makes sense for Tyson, in that moment in my head, and to be fair he's smashed it."
Robbie was also delighted to have both Bryan and Rod record songs for the album because they have always been inspirations to him.
He said of the pair: "People that I know, people that I like and people that I've got captive audience with that can't say no in that moment when you ask them to do it. It's easier on emails to say no.
"That was like two years ago and they'd forgotten but I hadn't...' me again'. They're both really lovely chaps, incredibly nice people, incredibly nice with me and I look up to them and they're the people I've gone, 'Right OK, what happens to your career when you get older, where do you go? How do you do it?' And I watch them for inspiration."
The 'Angels' singer - who will perform a festive show at the SSE Arena, Wembley, in support of the record on December 16, and is also playing Hits Live Manchester on November 17 and Magic of Christmas at the London Palladium on November 24 - teamed up with his father Pete Conway on 'A Wonderful Life' and his daughter Teddy, seven, has a small part on the track 'Home'.
Harry Styles has reportedly been offered a spot at Glastonbury next year.
The former One Direction star could become the first member of the boy band - which was also comprised of Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and formerly Zayn Malik - to play the Worthy Farm festival in Somerset, England, as it's rumoured festival organisers are keen for him to play the 50th anniversary event next June.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper's Wired column: "Harry's solo career is a huge departure from the pop stuff he did with One Direction. There's a genuine respect for the music he's making and festival organisers know he can pull in the crowds."
The rumour comes hot off the heels of Harry announcing his second solo album 'Fine Line' - the follow-up to his 2017 self-titled debut.
So far, Diana Ross has been confirmed for the Sunday afternoon legend's slot at Glastonbury, which takes place between June 24, 2020 and June 28, 2020.
Sir Paul McCartney recently hinted that he could be set to play the music extravaganza next year.
The Beatles legend last played the Pyramid Stage in 2004 and he admitted that he thinks the time has come for him to return to Worthy Farm, especially as his daughters Stella, 47, and Mary, 50, are keen for him to play the festival.
He said: "People are saying that it will be good if I did it, so I'm starting to think about whether I can or whether it would be a good thing.
"My kids are saying, 'Dad, we've got to talk about Glastonbury', and I think I know what they mean."
McCartney, 77, insisted that nothing has been set in stone yet, but it's definitely on the cards.
He added: "We played there quite a long time ago so maybe it is time to go back. I don't know. I'd have to put a few things in place.
"It's starting to become some remote kind of possibility. It's definitely not fixed yet but people are starting to talk about it."
Emma Watson is happy being "self-partnered".
The 'Harry Potter' actress "never believed" people who claimed they were content to be single and it's took her a "long time" to embrace her own status without a partner.
She said: "I never believed the whole 'I'm happy single' spiel. I was like, 'This is totally spiel.'
"It took me a long time, but I'm very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered."
Emma turns 30 next April and although she didn't previously understand the "big fuss" around the milestone birthday, she instantly felt "stressed and anxious" when she reached 29 as there is so much pressure on reaching key life moments.
She told the new issue of Britain's Vogue magazine: "I was like, 'Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal...'
"Cut to 29, and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious.
"And I realise it's because there is suddenly this bloody influx of subliminal messaging around. If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you're not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you're still figuring things out...
"There's just this incredible amount of anxiety."
The British star can next be seen in 'Little Women' and she loved getting the chance to work with her fellow "activists" Laura Dern and Meryl Streep.
She said: "What was really nice about working with Laura Dern and Meryl Streep was that the three of us knew each other way before we did Little Women.
"We met in activist spaces, so we had this allyship and solidarity as activists that had been part of a certain movement before we ever worked together."

Keanu Reeves walked the red carpet holding hands with Alexandra Grant at the LACMA Art + Film Gala on Saturday (02.11.19).
The 55-year-old actor - who hasn't been pictured with a partner for years - fuelled speculation he has found love as he posed for photos with the 46-year-old artist as they entered the Gucci-sponsored event in Los Angeles
Their high-profile appearance comes shortly after the 'Matrix' star was spotted walking arm-in-arm with Alexandra as they left a West Hollywood sushi bar.
According to the New York Times, the pair first met at a dinner party in 2009 and began collaborating on their first book, 'Ode to Happiness' shortly afterwards.
They have a joint venture, X Artists' Books, which works to produce titles that "wouldn't fly at larger imprints."
The 'Speed' actor - whose daughter Ava was tragically stillborn in December 1999, just a month before his girlfriend Jennifer Syme died in a car accident - admitted earlier this year that he felt "lonely" but hadn't given up hope of finding love.
He previously said when asked what he thinks about love: "You mean romantic love? You know, I'm the lonely guy. I don't have anyone in my life. But if it does occur, I would respect and love the other person; hopefully it'll happen for me."
The 'Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure' star certainly knows how to win over the heart of a girl as he pulled out all the romantic stops for his first proper girlfriend.
He explained: "I was 17 and I had an older girlfriend who turned me on to a lot of music. I had this car with these speakers in the back; she turned me on to bands like Joy Division, the Violent Femmes.
"We would get in the car, drink a little, do this or that, and I'd put the speakers on top of the car, and we'd go to a park and we'd dance."
BTS member Jungkook is being investigated by police following a car accident at the weekend.
The K-pop singer and a taxi driver both suffered minor injuries in the collision, and the band's entertainment agency, Big Hit Entertainment, have admitted the 22-year-old star caused the accident by violating traffic laws while behind the wheel of his Mercedes Benz in Seoul, South Korea, on Saturday (02.11.19) and he has already settled the dispute with the other driver.
They added in a statement: "We apologise again to the victim and also to fans for causing concern."
According to Fox news, Seoul police booked Jungkook and opened an investigation due to the city's traffic laws.
An officer noted the case was minor as both parties only suffered bruising and there was not a lot of property damaged.
It was also made clear the accident was not caused by anything as serious as driving under the influence.
Meanwhile, BTS - which also includes V, J-Hope, RM, Jin, Jimin, and Suga - recently vowed to keep performing for at least another decade after returning refreshed following a brief hiatus.
The 'IDOL' hitmakers have reassured their fanbase that they aren't planning to go anywhere anytime soon and will keep performing for as long as their "bodies hold up".
Jimin said: "We're not really compelling each other to keep this going.
"It's nothing like that. We just have so much fun together singing and dancing that we want it to continue."
And Suga agreed: "As long as our bodies hold up, we'll be doing the same thing in 10 years."
The nominations for the 2020 Grammys will be announced in November, and the band say it would be "an absolute dream" to win a Grammy.
RM said: "When we were presenting [at the Grammys in 2019], we said that 'We will be back!
"So hopefully we can keep our words. It would be an absolute dream come true. Just thinking about it is thrilling."
Michael Douglas has confirmed the third 'Ant-Man' movie will begin filming early next year.
It was recently reported that Marvel Studios are developing another instalment of the superhero franchise, with Peyton Reed set to return as director.
And now the 75-year-old actor has confirmed he will be back as entomologist and physicist Hank Pym for the follow-up to 2018's 'Ant-Man and the Wasp'.
Douglas told Collider.com: "The Marvel world has really been a blast!
"I love them, I'm having a great time. We're starting a third ['Ant-Man' movie] in the beginning of January 2021."
The Hollywood legend last reprised his role as Hank in 'Avengers: Endgame' in April.
The previous two 'Ant-Man' films were both released in July, and it has been suggested that the movie could hit cinemas on July 29, 2022, as Marvel recently unveiled their release schedule.
It's assumed that Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly will reprise their respective roles as Ant-Man and the Wasp, though nothing has been confirmed as of yet.
Douglas teased in February that talks were in place for another film.
He said: "There's been talk [about another 'Ant-Man'] ... there's been nothing formal right now that I know of.
"They always kind of spring it on me. The first time you hear about it, it's already in its third rewrite."
Last August, Rudd admitted there were a few "ideas" about another 'Ant-Man' film but he didn't like to speculate in case the motion picture didn't go ahead.
He said: "I don't know what the plan is, and I haven't really asked, because I don't want to put too much thought into it in case ... well, what if there isn't?
"There are a couple of ideas [for a sequel], but I'd hate to go into any specifics. Even though that is what you want! Because it might not happen."
And in October, director Reed admitted there were plenty of ideas for another film.
He said: "Hopefully we're going to get to do another film, but we honestly don't know yet. But we definitely have a lot of ideas and things we've certainly set up in this movie.
"There is [an idea for a trilogy] ... as we were writing the second one, [we were] coming up with stuff we wanted to set up. We definitely had ideas for character arcs for all the characters, and I certainly have some of my own, some of which I've shared with Marvel, some I haven't."
Neil Young turned down "millions" to tour his classic album 'Harvest'.
The 'Heart of Gold' hitmaker doesn't want to perform a retrospective show featuring his 1972 fourth LP in full because "everyone" who worked on the record with him has since died.
He said: "I was just offered millions of dollars for a tour to do 'Harvest'.
"Everyone who played on 'Harvest' is dead. I don't want to do that. How about planting instead of harvesting?"
Neil was joined by his band the Stray Gators when he made 'Harvest', but pianist Jack Nitzche passed away in 2000 and drummer Kenny Buttrey died in 2004. In 2010, pedal-steel guitarist Ben Keith also died, and final member, bassist Tim Drummond, passed away in 2015.
The 72-year-old singer admitted performing live is getting harder as he gets older but he's not planning to retire.
He told AARP The Magazine: "I'd feel like Cher. Don't retire unless you really aren't interested. I'm interested.
"It hurts a little to play now where it didn't before. I don't hear quite as well as I did before. My voice is not like it was before.
"Show me something that is like it was before. I feel good about the future. The idea is, do not stop moving."
Neil doesn't think there's any chance of a reunion for supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young because while he still "loves" Stephen Stills and Graham Nash, he has a poor relationship with David Crosby.
He said: "Crosby should write an introspective book: 'Why People Won't Talk to Me Anymore.' He made a lot of great music for a long time. I don't know what happened with David. I got nothing to say.
"I love Stephen. I love Graham. If a reunion happens, it would be a surprise.
"I won't close the door on anything. I can hold a grudge with the best of them but only if there's a reason for it."
Jeff Goldblum would work with Woody Allen again.
The 67-year-old actor - who had a brief role in the director's 2001 movie 'Annie Hall' - believes that the filmmaker has "done things that are to some unsavoury, understandably" but that wouldn't impact on his own career choices.
Asked if he'd work with the controversial filmmaker - - who has been accused by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow of sexually assaulting her when she was seven - again, Jeff said: "Well, that's a very publicly provocative and delicate question.
"As we know, times have evolved, and even the movie 'Manhattan'. "
He went on to point out the allegations have been investigated and no charges brought, so was asked to clarify if that meant he would work with Woody.
He replied in an interview with the new issue of Radio Times magazine: "I'd have to say yes. Yep. I've looked into some of it, and I'd look into it more, but the answer is yes."
The 'Jurassic Park' actor stressed he is "deeply sympathetic" to anti-abuse campaigns and urged people to "keep moving in the right direction of respect for and listening to women."
Jeff's comments come after the 'Blue Jasmine' director recently defended himself and insisted he was always respectful on set.
The 83-year-old filmmaker - who has always denied the allegations against him - said: "I've worked with hundreds of actresses, not one of them has ever complained about me; not a single complaint. I've employed women in the top capacity for years and we've always paid them the equal of men.
"I've done everything the Me Too movement would love to achieve."
In 2018, Allen admitted to being frustrated that he's still being asked about the Dylan Farrow case.
He said: "This is something that has been thoroughly looked at 25 years ago by all the authorities and everybody came to the conclusion that it was untrue.
"And that was the end, and I've gone on with my life. For it to come back now, it's a terrible thing to accuse a person of. I'm a man with a family and my own children.
"Everyone wants justice to be done. If there is something like the MeToo movement now, you root for them. You want them to bring to justice these terrible harassers, these people who do all these terrible things. And I think that's a good thing."
Billie Eilish has teased she is set to release two new songs.
The 'bury a friend' hitmaker recently took to her Instagram Stories and told her fans about the unheard tracks and confirmed a music video for 'Xanny' is on its way.
She said: "Yes, the 'Xanny' video is coming. Yes, I have two unreleased songs that are coming that you haven't heard any of ... Be patient, damn!"
Meanwhile, Billie recently admitted the thought of recording her second album "haunts" her.
The 'bad guy' singer has a sense of dread surrounding the prospect of creating new songs after the success of her first album 'When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?' left her questioning her love of music.
She said: "[My next album] haunts me.
"There was a period where I was like, 'Do I even enjoy music?' "
Billie released her debut album LP in March 2019 and has spent the rest of the year touring the songs, but the 17-year-old artist insists the life of a pop star is not as glamorous as people might imagine.
In September, Billie sprained her ankle on stage at the beginning of a show in Italy, and was the victim of theft when someone stole one of her rings during another show in October.
She said: "It just felt like so much touring. And I don't mean the shows. The shows are always my favourite part. But it was just travelling and being alone all the time, on a cold bus in Europe, horrible food, and when you come back everyone's kind of moved on from you. This last tour I went on was the first I've ever enjoyed. I feel like I have this amazing thing that now I actually see."
Despite Billie's angst about her second studio LP, her singer/songwriter brother Finneas O'Connell revealed earlier this month that they are "deep" into the creative process of her second album.
Finneas spilled: "I'm writing the album now and I think the album's all new. I think it'll mirror 'When We All Fall Asleep...' in that sense that the EP had 'Ocean Eyes' and 'Bellyache' and then the album was just only album songs and no re-releases so we're excited about that one.
"We're deep into the creative process on new material for sure."
Kate Hudson says her brief romance with Dax Shepard "got hot fast".
The pair had a fling in 2007 which blossomed after a prank on the paparazzi, as they made it look like they were dating by holding hands whilst walking out of celebrity hotspot Nobu in Los Angeles.
Speaking to his former lover on his 'Armchair Expert' podcast, Dax recalled: "We exited Nobu; I was shirtless; we were holding hands.
"I was acting mad at the paparazzi that they were invading our privacy. And then that just led to somehow hanging out."
The pair dated for a few months after the 'Almost Famous' star's split from ex-husband Chris Robinson, but she wasn't ready to embark on a relationship so soon after her divorce, especially as their son Ryder was only three at the time.
Dax said: "We were in different places in our lives, I think."
And Kate explained: "It was so much fun and then it got hot fast.
"It got connective, and I wasn't prepared. I was making a movie; I had [my son] Ryder."
Dax married 'Frozen' star Kristen Bell in 2013, and the couple have daughters Delta, four, and six-year-old Lincoln together.
Kate went on to become engaged to Muse rocker Matt Bellamy - with whom she has eight-year-old son Bingham - for three years, before going their separate ways in September 2014.
The 'Bride Wars' actress has been with partner Danny Fujikawa since 2017, and the pair welcomed their first child together, daughter Rani, 13 months ago.
Kate recently insisted she is in no rush to walk down the aisle again anytime soon.
She said: "Oh god! I'm not thinking about that.
"Yeah, especially after one wedding, you're like, 'Whew!' It's a lot of work but yeah, not anytime soon but I love the man!"
Katie Holmes feels like she and daughter Suri "grew up together".
The 40-year-old actress gave birth to her 13-year-old girl - whose father is her ex-husband Tom Cruise - when she was 27 in April 2006, and she says it's been "nice" having a child whose age is a "good match" for her own.
Katie told the latest issue of ELLE UK: "I was happy to become a mum in my twenties. "It's been nice that our ages fit ... how do I put this? Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match.
"We kind of grew up together."
The 'Logan Lucky' star also spoke about how fulfilled she feels with her life and career after turning 40.
She said: "I directed my first film, 'All We Had', a couple of years ago and I've been working to get my second film ready so I'm excited to continue.
"It's interesting to be 40, though, because when you're young, you think, 'I'm never going to be 40!'
"And then the day comes and it's like, this is OK. I'm still doing everything I've always done.
"I feel happy with where my career is and I'm excited for the projects that I have coming up to come to fruition."
Meanwhile, Katie also reflected on the time she turned down her audition for the role of Joey Potter in 'Dawson's Creek' in favour of a school play.
She recalled: "I was playing Lola [Damn Yankees, school play].
"I even got to wear the feather boa.
"I thought, there is no way I'm not playing Lola to go audition for some network.
"I couldn't let my school down ... so I told Kevin [director Kevin Williamson] and [TV network] The WB, 'I'm sorry, I just can't meet with you this week. I've got other commitments.'"
Katie ended up getting the part in the hit US teen comedy and remained on the show until the final series in 2003.
Katie and her co-stars, including James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery), Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter), Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley) and Busy Philipps (Audrey Liddell), reunited last year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the programme.
She said: "It was really nice.
"We all went out to dinner and, I think, for all of us to really sit back in amazement that people still watch it and care about it.
"It was bigger than all of us and we all feel grateful that we got to contribute to it and benefit from it. We all got so many opportunities because of it."

Alec Baldwin is suing a man he rowed with over a parking space.
The 61-year-old actor pleaded guilty in court in January to a charge of second-degree violation of harassment in relation to the incident, which took place in November last year when he was arrested after being accused of punching Wojciech Cieszkowski in the argument.
The '30 Rock' star has now filed a defamation lawsuit because he insists never hit anyone and the other guy - who filed an assault and slander lawsuit against Alec in April - repeatedly lied about what had happened.
Documents obtained by TMZ read: "When two New Yorkers get into an argument over a parking space, typically what happens is they exchange a few sharp words and then move on with their lives.
"But that is not what happened here. Cieszkowski has instead made up a false story about the encounter and refused to move on unless Baldwin succumbs to his extortionate demands."
The 'Saturday Night Live' star has admitted "lightly" pushing Cieszkowski during the row but insisted the man then lied and claimed to have been badly assaulted.
Alec believes both hospital records and video surveillance footage will back up his side of the saga.
The 'Boss Baby' star was ordered to take an anger management class and pay a $120 fine when he pleaded guilty to harassment earlier this year, and his lawyers later claimed Cieszkowski was "searching for a jackpot" with his assault and slander lawsuit.
Luke Nikas, Alec's lawyer, said in a statement: "We intend to show the Court that Mr. Cieszkowski's story is false- that the video evidence, eyewitness testimony, and medical records all prove that he's searching for a jackpot he's not entitled to receive."
In May, Alec and his lawyers slammed Wojciech for his lawsuit and called for the slander allegations to be dismissed, after accusing him of trying to turn a minor incident into a "multi-million dollar lottery ticket".
A memorandum filed to dismiss the slander allegation read: "Cieszkowski is trying to turn a minor altercation over a parking spot into a multi-million dollar lottery ticket."
Matthew McConaughey has joined Instagram.
The 'Lincoln Lawyer' actor marked his 50th birthday on Monday (04.11.19) by signing up for an account on the photo-sharing website.
Matthew alerted fans to his new page with a video shared to Twitter, in which he said: "Born November the 4th 1969, got my dad's name the very same day. But not until I turned 50, today, did I become @officiallymcconaughey. That's my Instagram handle. See you there."
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' actor - who has children Levi, 11, Vida, nine, and Livingston, six, with wife Camila Alves - admitted he was "nervous" about joining Instagram.
Making his first post another video, he said in the clip: "When people come to my page, I want them to see me.
"Look, this is my first venture into sharing myself and my views with the world, and I'm a little bit nervous about it, because quite frankly, I know I want to have a monologue.
"I'm not sure I want to have the dialogue. But I've learned that you gotta have the dialogue, too."
The 'Beach Bum' actor wants to inspire his followers while having "fun" with the platform.
He continued: "I'm looking forward to sharing who I am with you, I'm looking forward to seeing if who I am translates, if what I want to share translates, if it tickles your funny bone, if it makes you think a second, if it makes your heart swell up a little bit, if it makes you take a quiet moment for a walk and go, 'I have to check in with the M and the E' -- hopefully all of those things...
"Let's have some fun with it though. Again, let's keep the high eye, not the low eye. High eye."
Matthew completed his steps into using the app by singing a song on his Instagram Story.
Sitting in a velvet chair, he warbled: "Do I have an Instagram? Well, I'd be a lot cooler if I did. But guess what? It is now a lot cooler because I do."
