Boat Bash, is a customer appreciation event on Castle Rock Lake hosted by Castle Rock Marine, Docking Solutions, Smith II Marine, and ELF Storage. This year the Mauston High School Choir was chosen and $2,000 was raised at the event and an additional $1,000 was matched by Castle Rock Marine for new uniforms for Mauston’s show choir and concert choir and was used to purchase new uniforms for the choir.

Mauston Choir Director Samantha Ley said the choir is hosting additional fundraisers to raise $10,000 to provide shoes, uniforms, and other items that will enhance Mauston’s choir program and showcase the participants of the talent of Mauston High School Choir kids. If you are able to donate, please contact Ley.

The choir is hosting a 5K Choir Color Run/Walk Oct. 21. Registration starts at 9 AM and the run/walk begins at 10 AM.

The cost for this event is $25 if you register before October 6th and $30 if you register after October 6th. The registration fee includes run/walk registration, individual color packet, race bib, and a color run T-shirt. The Color Run/walk is held at Mauston High School and all proceeds go towards helping the choir reach their $10,000 goal for new uniforms.
