Students in Necedah School District received a visit from Santa and an elf as part of Operation Cardinal Clause on a cold day with occasional snowflakes Nov. 21. Each of the students who did not opt out of the visit received a present consisting of a gingerbread cookie, an ornament, a book and a hot chocolate mix.
