Andrea Thomas, a junior at St. Could State University, has averaged about 8 points per game and 3.9 rebounds per game as a Huskie and has scored 112 points total for the 2016-17 season.
In her last game against Minnesota Crookston Jan. 7, the Mauston High School alumna scored 6 points and had 3 assists and 3.9 rebounds. Last month, against Bemidji State, she scored 20 points, a season highlight for her, to contribute to a 111-107 win against the Beavers.
For her overall career, she has averaged 6.9 points per game, 31 assists and 37 rebounds. The Huskies are now 7-7 overall (5-5 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference)

University of Wisconsin Eau-Claire freshman and Mauston High School alum John Maki has an overall record of 2-1, with three pinfalls and one technical fall for the first season of his college career.
In the 157 pound weight class, Maki defeated Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Jacob Weaver by tech fall, 18-1 on Dec. 3, and in the second match of his college career, defeated Chris Barrett of Luther College by fall. His only loss of the season was Nov. 19 to Mac Spotts of Upper Iowa University.
For the 2016-17 season, the junior at Saint Mary’s University had a total of 0.3 assists per game, 0.3 turnovers per game and an assistant-to-turnover ratio of 1.0.
The former Royall Panther has scored an average of .6 points per game and 10 points overall in his career. He also has a career total of five rebounds and three assists.
The Cardinals are now 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athlete Conference (MIAC).
