New shelf space

Sandy Roberts, a friend of the Angie Williams Cox Library in Pardeeville, moves books aimed at pre-teenage children to their new shelves on the second floor of the remodeled Pardeeville library. Library Director Kelly Sternberg said the library will be closed until Friday, to allow time for moving in new furniture and shelving materials -- more than 15,000 books, not counting CDs, DVDs, toys and other materials that the library lends. Volunteers, including Friends of the Library and members of the Pardeeville Lions Club, assisted with moving the materials from a vacant storefront across the street from the library, where they had been stored during construction.
