"I've always been concerned with the approach we've taken on this," U.S. Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin) said at a recent Axios live event on the topic of economic recovery. "We should've focused on the nonessential businesses that really represented a significant risk for out of control spread." Sen. Johnson suggested that shutting down those businesses while providing them with economic support may have been more effective than the generalized shutdowns. Johnson also pointed out the riskiness of patrons visiting bars which may be helped by stricter regulations going forward.
