"We have $80 million in front of us in a motion. The majority party is seeking approval for a plan that's $102 million. We're going to cover some of that gap...at the expense of the state," Representative Evan Goyke (D-Milwaukee) said at the Joint Finance Committee Section 13.10 meeting on the Juvenile Corrections Grant Committee plan. Republicans motioned to direct the Department of Corrections to implement the juvenile correction facility plans of the Dane County, Racine County, Brown County, and one of Milwaukee County's plans which excludes the leased space for their facility. "We're not fully funding all parts these plans. We're moving forward with a major investment in an important part of this plan for reforming our juvenile system in Wisconsin," Representative Mark Born (R-Beaver Dam) responded.
