Would someone on the Beaver Dam Police and Fire Commission please give us the locations being considered for a second fire station and how fast the units could respond and what roads would be affected?

If at the present time the fire department could not respond in a timely fashion and their limits is at Culver’s, how large of a station would have to be built to accommodate adequate protection for all the large buildings and facilities left without protection? Does it not mean we will have to hope that Fox Lake and surrounding fire departments could respond until the emergency units of Beaver Dam could provide assistance at the emergency?

Money is set for hotels and other projects but nothing to provide adequate fire and police protection for the new apartment being built on the north side either with no fire suppression equipment installed either.
