PARDEEVILLE—The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office responded to a incident in Pardeeville on Monday night that resulted in an officer-involved shooting, according to a Columbia County dispatcher.
The Wisconsin Professional Police Association Executive Director Jim Palmer confirmed with the Portage Daily Register that department field staff were responding that evening. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. with officers responding to a dispatch call of a domestic incident in which the suspect reportedly fired toward responding officers.
MedFlight was called to respond, but canceled as dispatch requested notification of the coroner at about 9 p.m.
As of 9:30 p.m. Monday, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office had not yet released a statement confirming the identity of anyone involved or injury status.
