Between 8:33 a.m. Monday and 7:11 a.m. Wednesday police responded to 63 calls.
East Carroll Street: Portage police on Monday, at 9:43 p.m., responded to a report of a disturbance allegedly involving alcohol and a firearm. Upon arrival officers, aided by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, located a pistol and arrested a 33-year-old Portage man on suspicion of domestic disorderly conduct and domestic battery. A 32-year-old woman was issued misdemeanor citations for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
