Walter E. Krueger, 75, of Pardeeville, passed away peacefully Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019, at his home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1944, in Portage, the son of Elmer and Helen (Fredrick) Krueger. He graduated from Pardeeville High School, the class of 1962. In his earlier years, Walter drove semi-truck for others and himself. Walter loved the land and farming was a true passion of his. He enjoyed attending tractor pulls and during the harvest season, Walter would run the combines out in North Dakota. He was also a member of the Wisconsin Corn Association. Walter was a lifelong member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pardeeville.

Survivors include his sister, Ruth Krueger of Pardeeville; and many cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran, with Rev. William Runke officiating. Interment will follow at Pardeeville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Online condolences may be made at Grasse Funeral Service in Pardeeville is serving the family.
