A second woman has died after a head-on crash Sunday in the town of Lodi, the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday.

Columbia County Sheriff Roger Brandner said Leah K. Brisky, 41, of Lodi was driving a blue 2007 Chevy Trailblazer southbound on Highway J when a red 2017 Ford Escape crossed the center line and collided with her vehicle.

Brisky was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday night after authorities responded at 5:10 p.m.

Delores L. Small, 77, of Lodi, was a passenger in the Ford Escape. She was transported by ambulance to University Hospital in Madison on Sunday night.

Small later died from her injuries.

The man who was driving the Ford Escape was taken to University Hospital by Med Flight on Sunday night. Authorities have not released his name, nor have they provided any updates on his condition.

Brandner said Sunday that all occupants from each vehicle were wearing seat belts.

An investigation is still ongoing.
