Eric Shimpach is a very ambitious young man and taking his role as a candidate for the 6th District alderman position very seriously. He obviously has done his homework and continues to do so as he meets with individuals and families in the area to listen to their concerns for their neighborhood and the city of Portage.

From the conversations he's had with the neighborhood he's gotten a lot of really great ideas for the city. I want my neighbors to know that he really is a rare kind of person. He actually cares about his neighbors on a personal level to ask you just how your day is, or if there is anything he can do to help you.

He truly wants your opinion.

He has been a breath of fresh air in our neighborhood being so involved and willing to hear our concerns and needs. My family has lived in this home for more than 70 years and I don’t recall anyone coming to our house to ask for opinions on the neighborhood. He has gone to extraordinary lengths to make sure he hears from everyone.

Please consider Shimpach on April 2. He has my vote and those of my neighbors.
