After over a week off, the Reedsburg girls basketball team showed little signs of rust with a trio of wins.

The Beavers sandwiched a pair of blow-out wins with a nailbiting victory over DeForest as they stretched their winning streak to five games. Reedsburg got back into the swing of things on Feb. 2 with a convincing 74-40 win over La Crosse Logan in a non-conference game at Reedsburg Area High School.

The Beavers piled up 41 points in the first half to take a 21-point lead into the break and cruised home from there for the 34-point win. Leading the way for Reedsburg was Alyssa Straka, as the senior racked up 21 points, while freshman Trenna Cherney added 20.

Seniors Julia Korklewski (14) and Ava Douglas (12) also hit double-figures in the win.
