The Badger Lightning girls hockey team lost 6-1 at Viroqua on Friday in a Badger Conference game.

Viroqua scored four goals in the opening period, but the Lightning got on the board late in the first when Abbi Panten scored off an assist from Jordann Meinhardt. Viroqua would scored two more in the third to pull away.

Lightning goalie Natalie Buss recorded 28 saves on the night while the Lightning amassed 15 shots. The Lightning (1-10, 0-7 Badger) will take on the Cap City Cougars on Tuesday in a conference road game.
