The Reedsburg Area High School Show Choir, “The Choraliers,” showed off their talent this past weekend in a tough competition.
The group competed at the Sauk Executive Session Invitational Competition at Sauk High School. A competitive show choir for the past 33 years, 2014 sees the return of the Classic Choraliers, according to CAL Center organizers. The choir practices at the center, which is part of the Reedsburg High School complex.
“In recent times, the group has been known to give performances that are unique and different, and this year is no exception,” says the center’s website.
The show choir has been performing “Our Black Tie Affair,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “Step out with our Babies,” “Suits and Ties,” “Oh, the Way We Look Tonight” and “Striking a Pose in One.”
In December 2013, Alliant Energy and the Alliant Energy Foundation donated $1,950 to support the Choraliers in appreciation of the show.
