The lineup for the 21 annual Concerts in the Park in Reedsburg will feature two new bands in this year.

Madison based polka band The Zweifel Brothers will kick off the first week of the nine concert event June 19 while bluegrass band Bluegrass TeA and Company will perform July 3.

Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kristine Koenecke said Swifkick, a local band playing top 40 country and classic rock songs, will return July 24 for its first performance in about a decade at the Reedsburg event. Swifkick consists of five members from the Baraboo and Madison area, according to the bands website.

Koenecke said other bands in the lineup include “returning favorites,” like Cooper Box, Ladies Must Swing and the Reedsburg Area Community Band are set to play at Concerts in the Park.

All concerts are held in City Park in Reedsburg. If inclement weather is an issue concerts will move to the Cal Center or RACA building. If a concert is moved due to weather, the chamber will post signs in the park and update its facebook page informing attendees about the change, Koenecke said.

Koenecke said about 300 people attend one single concert and as many as 400 people have attended depending on the band.

The concerts are free to attend with donations welcome during the “pass the hat” portion of the concert, Koenecke said. She said vendors will sell food during concerts.
