Reedsburg ArtsLink welcomed over 600 visitors to Reedsburg’s downtown for its third annual Reedikulus Art Crawl Friday, July 28, from 5 p.m.-9 p.m. and its first ever SaturDAZE Gallery Stroll Saturday, July 29 from noon-5 p.m. Both events were held in conjunction with the Reedsburg Revitalization Organization’s Party in the Park, July 29.

Reedsburg ArtsLink’s events were supported in part by a grant from the Sauk County UW Extension Arts & Culture Committee and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts. Thank you to Sauk County for its commitment to the arts. We would also like to thank our partners; The Reedsburg Revitalization Organization (RRO) the Wormfarm Institute, LK Design & Photography, Signature Steps Dance Studio, and the City of Reedsburg, and these sponsors; Able Trek Tours, BMO Harris Bank, Community First Bank, RE/MAX Realty and Touchdown Tavern. We would also like to thank these donors: AMC-Desert Star, Jan and Carolyne Aslaksen, The Avalon Ballroom, Be YOU tiful Salon, Erv and Linda Borleski, Carrie Covell, CAL Center Presents, The Corner Pub, J’s Pub and Grill, Lorraine’s Mini-Mall, Papa Murphy’s, the Reedsburg Area Chamber of Commerce, Resale Beyond the Expected and Viking Village. We appreciate the participation of these retailers who featured art or sponsored an arts activity: BC Gallery, Blue Cherry Art, Country Charm, Fearings Appliance and The Vault Wine Bar. In addition, we would like to thank our Event Coordinator, Jenifer Stanek, our Volunteer Coordinator, Betti Jo Dorava, our Gallery Tech, Steve Tourdot, our Wishing Tree Project Manager, Joey Lubasi and our Map Designer Austen Weymueller. We would also like to thank the Planning Committee: Betti Jo Dorava, Don Douglas Jr., Kyle Martin, Katie Schofield, Jenifer Stanek and Haley Weisert. This event would not be possible without the participation of nearly 100 visual and performing artists who are at the heart of this event. Thank you for the hope, beauty and insight that you continue to create through your work. This event also would not be possible without the contributions of over 60 generous volunteers who did everything from distribute posters to pour wine. Finally, thank you to all the local businesses who took a moment to put up a poster on a busy day. From my heart, thank you all, not just for supporting this event, but also for supporting a growing culture of creativity in our community. If I have missed anyone here, please accept my apologies.
