On April 6, Sauk County Home and community Education with support from University of Wisconsin-Extension presented Get Ready, Get Set, Garden. Garden and craft classes provided a learning experience. Vitally important were the donations made to the silent auction and bake sale, and the time and effort of our class presenters and vendors. The donations allow HCE to offer scholarships, care items for cancer patients, and experiences with books for preschool learners.

Many area businesses generously donated to the silent auction including FlowerBuds, Hartje Farm and Power Equipment, Landscape Techniques, Log Cabin, Pam’s Greenhouse, Reedsburg Artslink, Reedsburg Shopko, Reedsburg True Value Superstore, Robbin’s Nest, Thunderbird Lanes, and Wild Bird Barn. Others allowed us space for posters, so important in getting the word out.
