Eagle viewers are discouraged from walking the shores of the river as the birds may become frightened. When not at the Eagle Overlook on Water Street in Prairie du Sac, viewers are asked to remain in their vehicles, which act as a blind. Eagles, especially the immature ones, need to conserve energy to survive cold Wisconsin winters.
