The Sauk Prairie baseball team opened the week with a 7-5 loss at Monona Grove on Monday.
The Eagles took control early, scoring two runs in each of the first two innings to open up a 4-0 lead.
Monona Grove chipped away with a run in the third and pulled even with a three-run fourth that tied the game at 4. Sauk Prairie pushed a run across in the fifth to briefly regain the lead before Monona Grove (6-3) took its first lead of the night with a three-run fifth.
That lead held, as the Eagles committed six errors and gave up just two earned runs on the night.
Sauk Prairie outhit Monona Grove 8-6, getting 2 for 3 nights from Domenic Adair and Adam Juran.
Mount Horeb 13, Sauk Prairie 3
Sauk Prairie led again Tuesday, scoring a run in the top of the first at Mount Horeb.
The Vikings (6-2, 3-1 Badger North) answered immediately, scoring four runs in the first and three runs in the second on the way to handing the Eagles a 13-3 Badger North Conference loss in six innings.
Sauk Prairie (3-6, 1-3 Badger North) committed six errors again, while being outhit 10-5.
Tyler Uselman went 2 for 3 to lead Sauk Prairie offensively.
The Eagles and Vikings will meet again Thursday in Sauk City, starting a stretch of home games that also includes Badger North games against Beaver Dam and Baraboo.
