The Sauk Prairie High School girls soccer team is cruising early in 2019, outscoring its opponents 25-0 through three games.

Sauk Prairie 10, Milton 0

Katelyn Fishnick scored six goals to propel the Eagles to a 10-0 non-conference win at Milton on April 4.

Fishnick didn’t waste any time, scoring five of Sauk Prairie’s seven first-half goals. The freshman’s first goal of the night came on a 15th-minute assist from Riley Breunig. Fishnick scored four goals during a 10-minute stretch between the 26th minute and the 36th minute, receiving three assists from Kelsey Selden and one from Jordan O’Connor.

Camryn Ballweg and Ella Schad also scored first-half goals as the Eagles took a 7-0 lead into halftime.

The Eagles slowed down in the second half, with Ballweg and Breunig scoring in the 61st and 67th minute, respectively, before Fishnick capped off the scoring in the 74th minute.

Maddie Ganshert and Bridget Fabian split time in goal for Sauk Prairie, tallying four and three saves, respectively. Ginny Attwood made nine saves for Milton.

The Eagles flipped it around in Tuesday’s 10-0 win over Stoughton, scoring three first-half goals before pulling away with seven goals in the second.

Fishnick got the Eagles (3-0) started again, receiving assists from Taylor Breininger and Riley Breunig to score two goals in the first 15 minutes. Macy Breunig rounded out the first-half scoring, taking an assist from Selden and scoring at the 42:35 mark.

Selden scored a goal of her own 16 minutes into the second half. The floodgates opened from there, with Ballweg scoring at 64:10, Selden at 70:14, O’Connor at 73:46, Lauren Frosch at 74:25, Macy Breunig at 81:50 and Schad at 84:32.

The Eagles finished with 32 shots on goal, while Ganshert and Fabian weren’t asked to make a save on the night.

The Eagles, who opened the season with a 5-0 home win over Dodgeville on April 2, will open Badger North Conference play by hosting Reedsburg on Thursday.
