Sauk Prairie's Tarren Nimmow serves during the No. 3 singles match of an April 9 home meet against Madison Edgewood.

The Sauk Prairie prep boys tennis went 3-0 in the past week and earned an honorable mention spot in the Wisconsin High School Tennis Coaches Association's Division 2 rankings.

Sauk Prairie won two of the three doubles matches in Friday's 4-3 home win over Beaver Dam, the final Badger North Conference dual of the season. Kelby Mack and Noah Wankerl earned a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles, while Isaac Green and Max Sailor added a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 2 doubles.

The Eagles split singles play, getting a 6-4, 6-1 No. 1 singles win from Tarren Nimmow and a 6-4, 6-3 No. 3 singles win from Chris Leatherberry.

Sauk Prairie had no trouble in Saturday's non-conference triangular at Black River Falls High School, earning a 6-1 win over Black River Falls and a 6-0 win over Sparta.

The Eagles will compete in the Badger Conference tournament Friday and Saturday at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison.
