Lawrence “Larry” J. Zander, 53, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Feb. 15, 2019. He was born May 19, 1965, to the late Ervin and Barbara (Brunner) Zander.

Roman Henry Frey, 86, passed away peacefully at Sauk Prairie Hospital on Feb. 18, 2019 surrounded by his family. He was born Mar. 25, 1932 to the late George and Anna (Lochner) Frey.

William (Bill) Patrick Aylward, 76, passed away Jan. 26, 2019 in Arizona. Bill was born July 12, 1942, the second child of Larry and Marie Aylward.

Agnes M. Harshner, 98, of Sauk City, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie Nursing Home.

Jean Louise Bell, 66, of Sauk City, formerly of Berlin, died peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at home.

Janice Kruse, 63, passed away quietly on the morning of Sunday, Jan. 6, 2019, with Shannon, Chris and Linda holding her hands, as many birds suddenly flocked to her feeders. Janice loved birds, flowers and gardening.

James J. Klamer, 72, passed away on Dec. 16, 2018 at St. Clare Hospice House, Baraboo. He was born in Des Plaines, Illinois, the son of the late Jacob and Edith (Herchenbach) Klamer.

Victor Nicholas Lochner, 95, of Sauk City, passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, after suffering a stroke at deer camp on the eve of gun season.

Norbert J. Albrecht, 92, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 14, 2018, with his loving wife by his side. He was born on June 11, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Anna (Willman) Albrecht. Norbert was united in marriage to Elaine Heber on Sept. 16, 1950.

John E. Gruber, Madison, a founder and first president from 1997-2013 of the Center for Railroad Photography & Art, Madison, died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, of esophageal cancer. He edited the center’s journal, Railroad Heritage, through 2012 and continued as president through 2013.

Roland “Rollie” Junior Peetz, 73, of North Freedom, passed away at Bloomfield Health and Rehab Center in Dodgeville on Oct. 2, 2018, after a 28 year battle with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Frank Schrofer, 89, passed away Oct. 2, 2018. He was born on Nov. 23, 1928, the son of the late Frank Sr. and Lila (Hewitt). Frank was united in marriage to Marlene Elsing on Sept. 9, 1952.
