Lyle L. Cady, 82, of Plain, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at his residence.
He was born April 12, 1935, in Denzer, the son of Ernest and Vernice (Klotz) Cady. Lyle was a member of the Plain American Legion and the Sauk Prairie V.F.W. He enjoyed fishing, going to Ho-Chunk and was an avid reader. Survivors include his four children, Scott Reinhard of Park Falls, Jon Cady of Spring Green, Nick (Michele) Cady of Lone Rock, Melissa (Chad) Cady of Spring Green; eight grandchildren, Hailey and Hannah Gruber, Zach, Sam, Cole and Quinn Cady, Shiloh and Jack Johnson; a sister, Rikki (John) McNabb of Baraboo; the children’s mother, Margaret Cady of Plain; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Vernice Cady.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at the Denzer United Methodist Church in Denzer. Rev. Carol Quinn will officiate with military graveside rites to be conducted by the Plain American Legion Post 398. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at the church.
