July 17

6:15 p.m. Daniel Scott Unmuth, 64, Baraboo, was cited for driving with a suspended driver’s license, first offense.

9:25 p.m Grant Wasner, 27, Sauk City, was cited for operating while intoxicated, first offense.

July 18

10:45 a.m. Sarah Harrison, 86, Prairie du Sac, was charged with an ordinance violation of shoplifting after a report was made at Lolo’s on Water Street in Sauk City. Harrison was also suspected of shoplifting on July 14 at Cameo Antiques Mall. An ivory turtle necklace and a rhinestone broach, both reported stolen, were allegedly discovered in her possession after a search by police. The items were returned to the respective stores.

11:40 a.m. The Sauk City Cenex reported a gas drive-off.

July 19

2 p.m. Police took a report of two loads of laundry stolen from Prairie Laundromat. The laundry had been left in the machines since July 17.

2:45 p.m. Grant S. Wasner, 27, Sauk City, was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded to a disturbance at Junge Park in Sauk City.

8 p.m. Police responded to a report of three tablets and a PlayStation 3 taken from a residence in the 100 block of Maple Street in Sauk City.

July 21

6 p.m. Michael T. Ringelstetter, 20, Sauk City, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant from the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department.

July 26

12:50 p.m. A gas drive-off was reported from the Sauk City Cenex. An Illinois plate number was obtained that matches the vehicle on the store’s surveillance video.

July 31

5 p.m. A resident in the 200 block of Spruce Street in Sauk City reported that five patio chairs were taken from her back yard.
