6 p.m. Police responded to a woman who stated she was being harassed by her ex-mother-in-law in the 100 block of 9th Street in Prairie du Sac.

7 p.m. Police took a report of a man reported a fraudulent charge to his debit card after losing the card in the 100 block of Phillips Boulevard in Sauk City.

April 18

1:35 a.m. A Wisconsin Highway State Patrol officer contacted Sauk Prairie police after a report from a man claiming to be from Europe stated he had been messaging a woman in the 500 block of 7th Street, Prairie du Sac, who had a history of health issues when the chat was disconnected. The woman was found to be fine.

April 19

1:45 a.m. Fernando Sandoval 18, Prairie du Sac cited for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 400 block of Ash Street.

April 20

2 p.m. A mail carrier reported being bitten by a dog in Sauk City.

April 22

11:30 a.m. Police responded to a harassment complaint in the 700 block of 17th Street when a person reported a harassing text message from a former employee.

7 p.m. Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Fox Run in Prairie du Sac when someone witnessed a juvenile take package from neighbor’s house and return home with it. Police contacted the juvenile and everything was fine.

April 24

11:15 a.m. Dustin L. Haas, was arrested and taken to Sauk County Jail on a Dane County warrant after multiple foot chases in the area of the 100 block of 13th Street in Prairie du Sac.

April 25

10 a.m. Sauk Prairie police assisted the Sauk County Sheriff’s Department in a welfare check of a person at the Prairie du Sac Dam. The person was found and all was well.

May 2

3 a.m. Police responded to a report of a man who appeared to be intoxicated lying near the street at Madison and Polk streets in Sauk City. Police gave the man a ride home and released him to his parents.

5 a.m. Police responded to a report of trespassing and damage to property in the 1000 block of Franklin Street in which a woman reported her daughter’s ex-boyfriend climbed the exterior fence, damaging it, and knocked on her daughter’s window. No charges were filed.

May 3

1 p.m. A gas drive-off from the Sauk City Cenex was reported, but no description of the vehicle was given.
