Try 3 months for $3

Saturday, Feb. 23 was our first All American Girl Party hosted at the Ruth Culver Community Library. It was hosted in conjunction with the five new circulating American girl doll kits the library now has. Each kit contains a doll, two changes of clothes, three books, a hair salon book and CD and a collapsible bed all in a neat pink traveling case.

Fifty-two adults and girls plus their dolls attended the party which included crafts, snacks and a trivia game for prizes. Each child went home with a prize. The library would like to thank Jayne Katers for the donation of dolls, clothes and many prizes, Joan Colstad for books, paper dolls and other prizes and Laura Netzinger for party supplies, food and help with the event. Laura’s two friends Louise and Deanna also attended to help prepare the room and food, serve during the party and clean up after.
