What wonderful community partners we have in Prairie du Sac. The Ruth Culver Community Library and D.Marie Knit and Fiber partnered up April 12 to offer a “Kids Knit” program to school-aged children. Children received knitting needles and their choice of beautifully colored yarn and spent an hour learning to knit and pearl.

Along with Dana Fehrenbach, Kate Robbins and two youth knitters, Clara Weiss and Ruby Taggart patiently instructed and encouraged the participants. They were also encouraged to consult Fehrenbach by stopping in the shop or via phone consultation if they got stuck or had questions. Fehrenbach also provided a colorful display of yarns and knit projects for the libraries lobby display case for the month of April. Many thanks to D.Marie Knit and Fiber for you partnership in April.
