BROOKLYN, N.Y. (AP) -- Jose Brizuela hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning, leading the Brooklyn Cyclones to a 7-5 win over the Hudson Valley Renegades on Tuesday.
Mac Lozer got Marvin Malone to fly out with a runner on third to end the game for his second save of the season.
The home run by Brizuela scored Jose Miguel Medina to give the Cyclones a 5-4 lead.
Hudson Valley answered in the top of the next frame when Michael Smith drew a bases-loaded walk, scoring Chris Betts to tie the game.
The Cyclones took the lead for good in the eighth when Oliver Pascual hit an RBI single, driving in Chandler Avant.
Yeudy Colon (2-0) got the win in relief while Kyle Goodbrand (0-1) took the loss in the New York-Penn League game.
For the Renegades, Erik Ostberg singled three times.
