Roichelle Marble is leaving the University of Wisconsin women’s basketball program and will play her final season at Colorado State as a graduate transfer.
Marble, a 5-foot-7 guard from Des Moines, Iowa, played in 88 games for the Badgers, starting four times. She averaged 1.8 points and 1.1 rebounds for her career.
After redshirting as a freshman due to a torn Achilles tendon, Marble had her best season in 2015-16 when she averaged 2.8 points and had a career-high 13 points against San Diego State. She averaged just 1.1 points this past season.
Marble will graduate in May with a degree in community and non-profit leadership.
She joins a Colorado State program that had a 21-12 record in 2017-18.
“We are very excited to add Roichelle to the Ram family,” coach Ryun Williams said. “Her athleticism, quickness and ability to handle the ball will really help our roster. Roichelle has a nice skill set at both the point and off-guard positions and we really like the very competitive and tough mindset that we know she’ll bring.”
