This storm swept through Gladesville, New South Wales, overnight on Feb. 18. Lightning was everywhere and the strong winds made it look like a hurricane.
While forecasts had Madison receiving 1 to 3 inches on Monday, the Dane County Regional Airport officially recorded 5.2 inches, just shy of the record for Feb. 17.
