After some snow later Wednesday into Thursday across southern Wisconsin, the coldest air of the season will move in, according to forecasters.
A winter storm watch is in effect from noon Tuesday to 3 p.m. Wednesday for the counties of Rock, Walworth, Waukesha, Ozaukee, Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha, as well as northern Illinois, according to the National Weather Service.
The area will get a break from the storms starting Thursday, with steamy weather returning for the weekend, according to forecasters.
