Following an upset loss to Portage, the Wisconsin Dells boys basketball looks to have gotten back into its groove.
The Chiefs picked up a pair of victories, holding off Lodi on Tuesday after rolling past Nekoosa in a South Central Conference game on Jan. 4.
Against the Blue Devils, it was a dominant first half that powered the Chiefs (8-2) to a 70-58 victory. Wisconsin Dells rolled to a 36-19 halftime lead before holding off push from Lodi in the second half.
Wisconsin Dells had three players in double-figures, led by senior Dylan Anchro who scored a game-high 16 points. Junior Bryson Funmaker added 14, while junior Riley Eck chipped in 11, including a trio of 3-pointers.
Before topping Lodi, Wisconsin Dells rolled past the Papermakers, 71-44. Like against the Blue Devils, the Chiefs darted out to a big lead in the first half, taking a 36-16 halftime lead before coasting home.
Four players scored in double-figures, led by junior Sam Millard's 17 points. Funmaker added 12 and junior Riley Eck and senior Dylan Musiedlak each had 10.
