Bella Goose Coffee is relocating from their Stand Rock Road location to a yet to be announced location in the Dells. The shop will continue operations during mornings starting Oct. 8 from the Riverfront Terrace until they are ready to open their new location.
“We knew it was a possibility,” said Chris Houston, general manager. “We were renting the building and they’re tearing it down.”
Originally opened in September 2014, Bella Goose Coffee operates as a non-profit to help those in need. The shop is currently focusing on combating human trafficking.
“We were just a group of people who loved coffee, who felt that coffee created this space where people could belong and help transform the community,” Houston said. “Our hearts break for the marginalized in the community. Our eyes have been opened, and we want to fight to support those in need.”
Bella Goose Coffee has had great success in Wisconsin Dells, allowing for expansion to Thailand and the Philippines.

“Helping people is not a burden at all,” Houston said. “We believe that we can transform the community there too.”
To celebrate the relocation, the coffee shop held a grand closing event on Sept. 22 with hourly specials, raffles, and giveaways.
“It was a chance for our customers to come out one more time,” said Houston. “We gave away lattes, pastries, had smoothie BOGOs, and our waffle bar has been a pretty big hit with most families.”
“I want to assure people that we aren’t going anywhere,” Houston said. “We’re committed to the Dells area, and we’ll have a new location soon.”
