Milton Husslein, 94, of Baraboo, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo.
Private family services are being planned.
Milton was born Oct. 5, 1924, in Milwaukee, the son of Milton and Elsie (Somers) Husslein Sr. Milton married his childhood sweetheart, Elsie Juresh on Jan. 2, 1943, in Milwaukee, and spent 71 wonderful years together. Milton’s work career started as a truck driver, followed by working for the City of Milwaukee as a heavy equipment operator for 16 years, before going back to truck driving. He later owned and operated a tavern in Laona, for five years before retiring and moving back to Milwaukee. In 1991, he relocated to the Jordan Lake area near Wisconsin Dells.
Milton is survived by his daughters, Barbara Bartley of Baraboo, and Sandra Franklin of Beverly Hills, California; brother, Robert of West Allis; grandchildren, Shelly (Jason) Werginz and Brian (Jessica) Bartley; and a great-grandchild, Kristen Werginz. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and a brother, Raymond.
