The Wisconsin Dells boys basketball team improved to 6-0 in the South Central Conference this season with a 75-44 victory over host Westfield on Tuesday night.
The Chiefs had three players in double-figures as they won for the fourth time in their last five games. Wisconsin Dells dominated the first half, building a comfortable 39-15 halftime lead before cruising home down the stretch.
Leading the way for the Chiefs was junior Brett Hirst, who scored a game-high 15 points. Along with Hirst, senior Dylan Musiedlak and junior Sam Millard each scored 10 points, while junior Riley Eck chipped in nine.
Wisconsin Dells 67, Richland Center 42
Having not played a game in a week, and having to go without practice for four straight days due to cold weather closing school, the Chiefs shook off the rust as it cruised to a 67-42 victory over Richland Center on Feb. 2 at Wisconsin Dells High School.
The Chiefs were led by Millard, who finished with 17 points. Senior Dylan Anchor also hit double figures for Wisconsin Dells, finishing with 10 points in the win.
Wisconsin Dells will return to action when it plays host to Nekoosa on Friday. The Chiefs will also host Adams-Friendship on Monday at Wisconsin Dells High School.
