The Wisconsin Dells Cross Country Club will be hosting its annual "Da Dells Dirtiest Dash" mud run and obstacle course on Aug. 4. The 3.6 mile course will start at the Wisconsin Dells High School lower football field, 520 Race St., Wisconsin Dells.
The event, which begins at 9 a.m., will run in waves starting every 30 minutes with obstacles include wall climbing, giant slip and slip, cargo nets, army crawl, pond running, and more. Waves will be assigned by Wednesday, Aug. 1, and participants are encouraged to show up 45 minutes ahead of their assigned start time.
People ages 10 and older are welcome to participate. Those who want to be put into the same "wave" as another individual(s), send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, or form a team with five or more people.
Proceeds will go to benefit the Wisconsin Dells High School Cross Country program to help subsidize running camps and clinics, cross training opportunities and more.
